The file includes an itinerary and summery of the 1960 tour and correspondence between Merchant and the British Council concerning the 1971 tour includes a copy for Merchant’s report. Also included are leaflets relating to the places in Germany he visited.
Also includes correspondence with Moelwyn Merchant and the Foreign Office, regarding his trip to Germany in 1952
