Including four autograph letters from MacCaig to Merchant concerning the work and a carbon copy of a typed letter from Merchant enclosing a copy of the completed printed work.
In addition, there are autograph manuscript copies of the three poems; an autograph overview of MacCaig’s life; a proof copy of the work with a covering letter from Eric Cleave to Merchant; and three copies of the final printed edition.
The edition was designed and printed by Eric Cleave at the Rougemont Press Exeter in 1970 and limited to 300 copies. The file includes copy no. 65 and 94, which have been signed by Stallworthy and no. 119
