The papers comprise Edward Moulton-Barrett’s letters received and copies of letters he sent and accounting and legal documents relating to the running of his estates in Jamaica; including expression of wishes on death of Maria (Mary) Trepsack; letters from Charles Washington Moulton; some family correspondence from his cousins Captain George Goodin Barrett and Rev Edward George Barrett in Jamaica and England; and also, papers relating to death, probate and estate papers of Edward Moulton-Barrett, inventories and valuation of properties at Hope End and Wimpole Street, legacies to family and administration of his estate by his son George Goodin Moulton-Barrett
