Youngest son of Edward Barrett and Judith Goodin. Sister of Elizabeth Barrett. Captain in British Army Grenadier Guards. Lived at Portman Square, London. Later member of Jamaica Assembly for Trelawny 1793-1794. Formed a union with Elizabeth Barrett Williams and father of their four sons Samuel, Richard, Edward and George Goodin Barrett. Grandfather of Edward George and Lizzie Moulton-Barrett.
