Photograph of an 18th century ?engraving drawing of [old] ‘Hope End [mansion owned by Henry Tempest], before Edward Moulton-Barrett bought it in 1809’ [in hand of Jose Moulton-Barrett]. The house was demolished in 1809 and a new house on an oriental theme was erected in its place
