A collection of 27 autograph letters to Browning from members of his circle, including acquaintances, friends and family. The letters range in date from 1857 to 1889 and some of their original envelopes have been retained.
There are letters from Alexander William Kinglake, Alfred Tennyson, Dante Gabriel Rosetti, George Goodin Moulton-Barrett, George Granville Bradley, George Jacob Holyoake, Henry Irving, John Everett Millais, John Forster, John Ruskin, Laura Horde Commeline and Mary Eliza Cother, Maria Elizabeth Moulton-Barrett, Octavius Moulton-Barrett, Rhoda Broughton, Thomas Hutchinson, Tommaso Salvini, Walter Savage Landor and William Johnson Fox.
Note that the Moulton-Barretts are Elizabeth Barrett-Browning's relatives.
