Content description
The original unedited typescript of letters from Elizabeth Barrett-Browning to Henrietta Barrett, her sister, and occasionally also to her other sister Arabel. Also included are copies of letters from Robert Browning to Henrietta and Arabel, with contextual notes. These letters were subsequently edited by Dr. Huxley. The parts that were not included in the published edition of these letters are highlighted in red.
