William Wetmore Story (1819-1895) was an American sculptor, art critic, poet and editor who lived in Rome after 1850. It was during this period where he became intimate with the Browning family.

A collection of letters and contracts from the Chapman and Hall archive, relating to William Wetmore Story (1819-1895), Charles Lever and others. The Brownings were close friends with the Story family, and indeed there are references to Browning in these Story letters to Chapman and Hall.
