Florence Coleridge (Mary’s sister) described the manuscripts as duplicates. The manuscripts are in Mary Coleridge’s hand and include the poems written under original titles as well as a number of unpublished poems.
The poems include: ‘He was not heavy’; ‘Vineta’; ‘Whither away?’; ‘The White Women’; ‘Unwelcome’; ‘Will it Last’; ‘In season and out of season’; ‘Praise’; ‘Which was right?’; ‘Sin’; ‘Pride’; ‘The New Museum’; ‘Days of the Dead’; ‘Where a Roman Villa was built’; and ‘In London Town’.
