Typescript of Hardy's 'Far From the Madding Crowd', adapted by A. H. Evans in 1909. The play was presented by the Dorchester Debating Society in the Corn Exchange, Dorchester, on 17 and 18 November. The typescript has 144 pages and has sewn, brown paper wrappers.

Ownership inscription at top of front wrapper: "Liddy" with annotations to the script - possibly somebody who acted in the play.
