Content description
Three albums of ephemera assembled by Dorothy Allhusen. Each album contains a variety of photographs, newspaper cuttings, autographs, telegrams and other pieces of printed ephemera. The albums focus upon the Allhusen family and their social activities. There is a signed photograph of Florence Hardy in one of the albums. Another focuses primarily on theatrical performances, including a 1920 performance of The Dynasts of which there are numerous photographs.
Provenance
Albums assembled by Dorothy Allhusen, a lifelong friend of Hardy's. Dorothy's book label is on the inside of each album.
