E.A. Craig collection: Papers and ephemera relating to ‘The Mask’
Sub-series
‘The Mask’ was a theatre magazine created by Edward Gordon Craig, which ran from 1908 until 1929, with a break in productions during the First World War. To help with its administration he hired a secretary, Dorothy Nevile Lees (or D.N.L., as she became known). When Gordon Craig went to Russia to work with the Moscow Arts Theatre, he handed control of the magazine to Maurice Magnus.
