Various letters from Enid Rose, a long-time friend and admirer of Craig’s work, regarding his various ideas for puppet plays and the publication of ‘The Marionette’. Some of the letters contain brief autograph annotations by Edward Gordon Craig. The file also contains other letters to Craig concerning his plan for a marionette theatre, including letters from ‘I.B.S’. at the Architectural Association; Yvette Gilbert; Hugo Compton; Andrew Carden; and Anthony Vickers.
Also included is a typed copy of a letter from Craig to Jeffcott regarding help working on ‘The Marionette’
