Containing studio images of Gordon Craig in costume for various roles he undertook as an actor. It includes:

Five photographs of Craig as Joey the gardener's boy in ‘Eugene Aram" by W. G. Wills, Chicago, 1885. This was Craig’s first speaking appearance on stage (including a number of duplicate images)
Twelve photographs of Craig as Arthur de St. Valery in ‘The Dead Heart’, 1889, alongside his mother Ellen Terry as Catherine Duval. (Including a number of duplicate images)
Three cabinet photographs of Craig in ‘Ravenswood’, 1890. One of which was given to Craig’s wife May, another given to Elena Meo by Ellen Terry
Four photographs of Craig as Alexander Oldworthy in ‘Nance Oldfield’, 1891, alongside his mother Ellen Terry as Nance Oldfield.
One cabinet photograph of Edward Gordon Craig alongside Violet Vanbrugh, accompanied by a photocopy of an invitation Edward Gordon Craig sent to T. Cooper for a performance of two small plays and two dualogues at the Town Hall, Uxbridge (1893)
