File
1930-1931
1 file containing 58 items
Letters from Count Harry Kessler mostly to Edward A. Craig, but some to Edward Gordon Craig and between Edward A. Craig and Edward Gordon Craig.
The file concerns a proposed project by Kessler for a new book of the Dioclesian Masque, which he wanted to have designed with woodcuts in a similar fashion to the edition of ‘Hamlet’ by Edward Gordon Craig. The project was initially offered to Gordon Craig, who turned it down and instead suggested E.A. Craig took up the project instead.
The file also contains other related material, notes and the working papers of E.A. Craig
