Mainly consisting of typed letters to Nelly Craig, Edward Gordon Craig’s daughter, who was looking after Craig in the later years of his life, during his increasingly declining health.
The principal concern of the letters is the possible fate of Edward Gordon Craig’s papers, the problems of copyright over the material, and the suggestion to bring as much of the material together as possible under the custodianship of Miles and held in trust by the Mermaid Theatre. They particularly discuss Craig’s daybooks.
The letters also concern the following matters:
