The print is being used for an invitation to ‘Craig 1872-1972, A Centenary Exhibition: E.G. Craig – Man of the Theatre’ (1972) at the Camden Arts centre. Alongside the print is an autograph note by Edward A. Craig to explain the original sketch.
Craig originally made the sketch when he was in Holland with Isadora Duncan in 1905-1906. For further related designs, see ‘Drawings, Watercolours and Photographs’ box [Kd.2]
