Autographs letters. Some copies of Lindsey Newman’s typed letters to Teddy Craig are also included.
Regarding Newman’s proposal to publish the Edward Gordon Craig and Martin Shaw correspondence and the problems encountered with Robert Craig (Edward Gordon Craig’s eldest son) and the Gordon Craig estate.
The letters also refer to exhibitions of Edward Gordon Craig’s work; questions relating to Gordon Craig and music, ‘Bach’s Passion’ and other productions, and mentions other prominent people Gordon Craig corresponded with, including George Jean Nathan, Count Harry Kessler and Claud Lovat Fraser.
