Autographs letters. Some copies of Lindsey Newman’s typed letters to E.A. Craig are also included.
The letters regard various Edward Gordon Craig manuscripts and archives material, particularly regarding models and set designs as well as the marionette plays, ‘Drama for Fools’. The letters also discuss a lecture Newman was giving on Gordon Craig and E.A. Craig’s own work.
Also included are notes for Newman’s proposed ‘International Edward Gordon Craig Survey’ and a letters of thanks from Mary Craig, E.A. Craig’s wife, to Newman.
