Autographs letters, with 3 cards. Some copies of Lindsey Newman’s typed letters to E.A. Craig are also included.
The letters include a list of items relating to Edward Gordon Craig, belonging to E.A. Craig, complied for Newman’s ‘International Survey on Edward Gordon Craig material’.
The letters also refer to other Edward Gordon Craig material, particularly ‘Black Figures’, woodcuts, and items relating to ‘Hamlet’, ‘The Merchant of Venice’ and ‘Macbeth’ as well as the Basaik Press edition of ‘Robinson Crusoe’.
Also included is a draft forward by E.A. Craig called ‘The Hidden Craig’ – written to accompany a published version of Lindsey Newman’s lecture in Venice 1974.
Some empty envelopes are also included in the file.
