Belinda Norman-Butler archive: Lined notebook, containing some of Belinda’s manuscript notes for her 1972 book on the Booth family
File
mid 1960s
1 volume containing a number of loose items
The material seems mainly to consist of her own transcriptions of some of Mary and Charles Booth’s letters. Slipped in to the book are a few letters relating to the Booths: from Margaret Simey, relating to her book on Charles Booth (16 Aug 1961); from ‘Andreas’, commenting on a MS draft of the book; from Meg Ritchie ‘re the Memoir and Letters’; and a transcription of a Thomas Macaulay letter from 1831, in an unknown hand.
