The album contains various family photographs as well as photographs of Edward Norman-Butler during the Second World War.
The album also contains various items of ephemera including playbills, programmes, tickets and invitations; telegrams sent confirming Edward’s arrival in the Middle East; newspaper cuttings concerning the English Speaking Union centre in Cambridge for allied troops, which was part of Belinda’s war work; and a clothing ration book.
The items have mainly been captioned by Belinda Norman-Butler.
