Content description
A collection of family photographs, featuring the immediate Sparks family as well as more distant relatives. There are portrait photographs of James Sparks, c.1900, Nat Sparks, c.1904, Rebecca Sparks (possibly Rebecca Hardy), Maria Hand Sparks (possibly Jemima Hardy), twelve other Sparks family photographs and five photographs of distant relatives. Of these five photographs, one has been identified as being of Mr and Mrs Thomas Carey's family before leaving England c.1882 (with handwritten note) and another as Eleanor Gale. The remaining three are yet to be identified.
Arrangement
Within the box, the portrait photographs of members of the Sparks family have individual envelopes. The twelve family photographs are in another envelope and the five photographs of distant relatives are in another.
