Sir Geoffrey Faber was a British academic, publisher and poet. He was the founding editor of Faber and Gwyer (shortly afterwards Faber and Faber), one of the most celebrated of literary publishing houses.

Content description
A series of five autograph and typed letters from Geoffrey Faber to Siegfried Sassoon, from 1936 to 1945. The typed letters are on Faber & Faber stationery. On the letter dated 7 November 1938, Sassoon has written a note to himself about replying to the letter and has sketched a colour caricature of a man next to it. There is also a large Christmas card from Faber included in this series.
