Audrey Boyle was Hallam Tennyson's first wife and Harold Courtenay Tennyson was their youngest son.

Ten autograph letters to Aubrey Tennyson from his father Hallam Tennyson, his mother Audrey Boyle and his youngest brother Harold. The majority of the letters are written during WW1 in which Aubrey Tennyson was fighting.
There are five letters from Hallam Tennyson to Aubrey Tennyson (1891-1918), their middle son. The letters are dated 1908, 1914 and 1915. There are also four letters from Audrey Boyle to Aubrey Tennyson, addressed to "my beloved boy", "my own darling" or "my precious boy". Undated but presumably written during WWI - on Farringford, Freshwater stationery and there are several mentions of soldiers' leave etc. Lastly, there is a 1910 letter from Harold Tennyson, the youngest son, to Aubrey Tennyson congratulating him on his brilliant scores and success in the cricket line.
