Caroline Mary Weedon (1817–1899) was born in Lambeth, London, the eldest daughter of Edwin and Mary Elizabeth Weedon. Along with her sisters Emma and Charlotte, she worked as a schoolmistress, teaching a small group of girls in their home in Erith, Kent, during the 1860s and 1870s. She died in Lambeth in 1899, aged 80
