Four folders of autograph poetry manuscripts, and some typescripts, by Anne Ridler:
1: Pink folder containing manuscripts and typescripts from "A Matter of Life and Death", published in 1959, and poems that went unpublished in book form.
2: Blue folder containing manuscripts from "Some Time After" and two from "The Golden Bird", published in 1972 and 1951 respectively. There is a typed contents list at the beginning of the folder.
3: Beige folder entitled "A masque for music, The Jesse Tree libretto, ms., ts., & music for chorale". Contains autograph music score entitled "Chorale for Jesse Tree" by Elizabeth Maconchy, to which Anne Rider set the words, an autograph script and a typed commentary on "The Jesse Tree" with autograph corrections by Ridler.
4: Manilla folder entitled "From the section of new poems in New & Selected Poems, 1988". Contains autograph poetry manuscripts.
