Henry (Harry) Arthur Hannen (1861-1933) was the youngest son of James Hannen (1821-1894) and Mary Elizabeth (Winsland) Hannen (1821-1872). Educated at Eton, he travelled widely and had many interests. He was a Justice of the Peace, magistrate and Kent County Councillor. He married Mabel Gould and they had three daughters:

His papers comprise miscellaneous letters and a book on law containing a chapter on his father, Lord James Hannen
