Part of Julia Simonne's collection.
Arranged by title, the files contain the remainder of the poems which were sent to Simonne during her friendship with Graves. They include drafts in manuscript and typescript form as well as photocopies of poems extracted from letters.
A number of the poems have attached notes, which were written by Simonne to give added details of the poem such as alternative titles.
The manuscripts are often dated and marked for Julia Simonne with a ‘J’, and signed with an ‘R’. The also record the various places where Graves was at the time of writing the poetry, this was mainly Deyà, in Mallorca.

Arrangement
The poems were arranged alphabetically by title and originally held in one large bundle. The filing system has been maintained, however the poems have been re-housed into several folder for preservation purposes
