A collection of printed matter relating to the First World War.
It includes a German proclamation to the inhabitants of Belgium, which Loyd found in a deserted German wagon; typed copes of intelligence summaries; newspaper cuttings showing maps concerning the British offensive; and copies of official papers issues to each solider
It also includes several official publications issued to solider, including booklet entitles ‘Uniforms and Distinctive Badges,’ ‘Field Services Regulations’ manual, ‘Field notes on Belgian, French, and German armies, 1914’ and ‘Cyclist Training’.
