Black leather travel satchel kept by Reggie and used by him on his travel to North America with his brother Robert in 1908.
The original contents and arrangement of the satchel has been maintained
It contains:
Folder of letters of introduction for both Robert and Reggie in Canada. (Contained in the boards of a ‘Shilling Atlas’ with ‘Letters from American continent, July-October 1908’ written on the cover).
Photographs of the trip from New York to Victoria and Victoria to Boston
Diagram of the last day of Sir W Lawless’s government before the general election in 1908 n Dominion House of Commons
Collection of autograph letters sent to Reggie while abroad
Invitation cards sent to Reggie during the trip
