Stevenson, Alan Leslie (1901-1985)

Alan Leslie Stevenson (1901-1985) was a British barrister and magistrate. He studied at Christ Church Oxford before being admitted to the Inner Temple in 1926. During the Second World War he worked at the Ministry of Food, and afterwards as a magistrate in Kent and London. Stevenson was invited by Lord Justice Geoffrey Lawrence (1880-1971), 1st Baron Oaksey, the lead British Judge at the Nuremburg Trials from 1945 to 1946, to attend the trials in March 1946.
