Description
The longitudinal cross-section of the building illustrates the rich decoration of the walls. An explanatory key below gives details of the types of marble used etc.
Above the top of the whole building is inscribed: THE SECTION OF AUGUSTUS'S BATH/ by a scale of English feet
On the lower right corner of Bn. 13. 52 is inscribed E. Kirkall sculp.
