Eric Walter Powell (1886-1933) was a boy at Eton 1900-1905; Assistant master in drawing 1910; senior Drawing Master 1922; House master 1925.3-1933.2. He was master of Hodgson House 1925.3-1930.2; Wotton House 1930.3-1933.2. He was killed in a mountaineering accident in the Alps along with Edward Vere Slater, Hugh Edmund Elliott Howson, and Charles Robert White-Thomson
