Hugh Edmund Elliott Howson (1889-1933) was assistant master in Classics 1918.3-1933.2; house master 1926.3-1933.2. He was master of Corner House 1926.3-1931.2; Jourdelay's 1931.3-1933.2. He was killled in a climbing accident in the Alps along with Edward Vere Slater, Eric Walter Powell, and Charles Robert White-Thomson.
