Many sports were represented by The Athletic Committee, which was led by the Captain of the Boats, 9th Man in the Monarch, Captain of the Eleven and Keepers from Rugby, Athletics, Field, Wall, Lawn Tennis, Association and Cricket. Books detail attendance at meetings and topics relating to sport at Eton, such as events, clubs, the Steeplechase and rules.
