Content description
Applications from students applying for grants to fund their travel expenses. Applications are for both personal trips and trips which are organised by the school. Each form includes the boy’s name and house, his proposed reason and project for travelling, how much it will cost and how much they wish to apply for concerning the grant. Also includes an endorsement by the boy’s house master. In the proposed reason for the grant the boys state various different intentions. Some include funding for; school trips, language study, to obtain work, for educational reasons – such as learning a language or exploring a historical sight relevant to their degree or A-Level –, for missionary travel – such as working with the red cross, to gain skills, and for personal travel.
