Reports from Etonians who had attended the college and had been given grants to travel in order to enhance their education or training. Places visited include; Lesotho, Greece, France, Kenya, Germany, Norway, Bali, America, Luxembourg, The Middle East, Persia, China, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Italy, India and Argentina. Some boys would stay in one country for a few weeks or months whilst others would travel around areas such as Europe and the Middle East. The reports would detail what they did on their trips and how the grant was able to provide experience for their career prospects. They would also state why the grant was good for a particular purpose – such as to train in certain aspects of engineering only available in the USA – and why boys wishing to pursue this training should be given the grants, based on the experience it had given previous boys.
