Congratulations on the engagement of his niece Anne Goodall to Mr Ashfield; unable to approach Bishop of Lincoln on his behalf because of Bishop's coldness, probably due to unsatisfactory behaviour of his sons at Eton; only fifth on the Windsor rota; will not use an Eton option to the detriment of Harriet and Mr Irving. No doubt of the marriage of Princess Charlotte. Dr Heath has resigned the Stewardship of the Chapter and much work devolves on him. PLACE: Cloisters, [Windsor Castle]
