King's health. His old pupil Briggs dangerously ill at Mainz. The Archbishop of Canterbury has taken his stall as his option; it is worth £800 and will soon be worth £1000. Fine done away with and income now fixed. Dr Keate has not submitted the appointment of the new assistant [E. Pickering]. He will have 9 of Mr Yonge's house pupils. Mr Carter and three others are executors but only he and John Coleridge will act. Letter incomplete.
