Lord Prudhoe has presented 1200 coins to 'our' numismatic society; meet in Somerset House. On Sunday will have to present the text and the anthem to 'our by courtesy so stiled gracious Queen'. Duchess of Kent gracious. Footman at a ball in the hotel kitchen given by Mr Thomas the landlord for the staff. Queen said to be rude to her predecessor's servants, never inviting the Master of the Household Sir Frederic Watson to dine but making him personally supervise the putting of dishes on the table.
