Content description
The damage to heads of pages in the first two quarters is very severe. Only portions of the original vellum cover remain. On the first nearly complete leaf an 18th century note: A Mich. 1560 ad Mich 1564 i.e. a 2 Eliz ad 3. Below, in a different hand (in Latin), "as appears from the name of the Junior Fellow Mr Atkinson" [George Atkinson, elected February 1560]. Weeks and quarters added in pencil by Provost Marten.
Week 11, 4th quarter. Visitors include the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bishop of Winchester and Sir Anthony Cook, who conducted a Visitation of the College on 9 September 1561.
