Quitclaim by Alvina, daughter and heir of Richard the clerk of West, of all her rights in land in West which her father gave to the priory of Modbury in return for 1 mark from R., the prior. Given in the 8th year of Henry II. Witnesses: Geoffrey de Pridias, David de Holcombe, Stephan de Loudebroc, Richard de Chisewel, Sell' de Bikebr' and others.

Seal: Round, 25mm, green wax, pendent on doubled tag. A flower with eight petals.
