Grant by William de Sagio, prior of Modbury, to Ralph le Scot, burgess of Modbury, of the wardship and marriage of Jordan, the heir of Walter de Combe up to his coming of age. For the accustomed services and two pounds of wax. Witnesses: Alexander de Oxston, knight, John de la Porte, John de Edmeston, Ralph de Cuchesforde, John de Boys, John called le Yreis, chaplain and others. Given on the Wednesday after the feast of the Purification in the 2nd year of Edward's reign.
