Content description
Quitclaim by Elias, son and heir of John Albi of Modbury, of his right in a quarter virgate of land, a dispute having arisen between Richard Chaplain and Ysote, sister to Elias and wife to Richard, and Peter son of Lucy, sister to Elias, and James, prior of St-Pierre-sur-Dives and Vincent, prior of Modbury. Witnesses: William de Bikebir, Roger de Pridias, Peter de Fishacre, John de Doune, William de Coleford and others. Given at Modbury the day after St John the Baptist 1285.
