Grant by William, abbot of St Pierre-sur-Dives, to Peter de Prideaus [Pridias] of one curtilage in Great Modbury called la Durnahaye, next to the cemetery on the east side. To hold forever, at 1d, in exchange for quitclaim. Warranty clause. Witnesses: Peter de Friluys, Robert de Teillay, Robert Durville, Roger Labbe, Roger de Mota, Richard de Kartel and others. Saturday after St Urban, 1310.
Three seals, pointed oval, each pendent on doubled tag. 1) Obverse, 30mm, originally about 50mm, brown wax. Figure of St Peter, a key. The bottom half broken. Reverse, 33mm, the Blessed Virgin and Holy Child seated. The seal and counterseal have broken away from each other. 2) 26mm yellow wax. Armorial. A shield, worn, beneath a fleur de lys. SIGILLUM PETRI DE PRIDIAS 3) Obverse, 50mm, originally about 55mm, brown wax. Virgin and Holy Child seated, a key on each side surmounted by a fleur de lys. Reverse 43mm, originally about 46mm.
