Copy of Indenture of 29. June, 1538. by which master Robert Welles, Fellow of Eton, in the name of the Provost and College, sells to William Hychyn of Saltcasshe, Co.Cornwall, their wood growing in Notter, Co. Cornwall, by estimation three roods, for forty shillings. The said William shall have two years "fellynge and ryddynge" of the said wood, and is to "copys" the same with sufficient hedge that the "sprynge take no harme with no maner of cattalle" for three years after the "ryddynge of the same".
