Admission, at a court, upon the surrender by Antony Ellesdon, Esquire, by John Hanson, gentleman, lord and farmer of the manor (by grant of the Provost of Eton), of Henry Legassicke, of Modbury, gentleman, to Swinebridge Mills with parcels of land lately held by Samuel Hart, gentleman, and Florence Fowell alias Savery, and afterwards by the said Ellesdon by copy of court roll of 5. August, 1693. for the use of the said Legassicke, the said parcels being called as follows viz: three closes called Priors Park alias Higher Prior's Park, Lower Priors Park, Lower Prior's Park alias Little Prior's Park and Wester Prior's Park, and four closes called Willislake, alias the four closes under Prior's Parks, a close called Wakeham's Park alias the close by Willislake, and two closes called Fary's Park alias Middle Willislake and the meadow under it, four closes called Wester Willislake alias Lower Willislake alias Crocker's Ground, three closes called the three Wester Oldhayes, four closes called the three Easter Oldhayes and the Little Meadow alias the Four Middle Closes alias Dandown and Corner's Meade, two Closes called Higher Willislake, four closes called Cockery Coll Woodhills alias Oakhay, Cockery Coll Meadow alias the Mill Meadow and Barley Park, three closes called Scoldens alias Three Scoldars, two closes called Bridgepark alias the close by Swinbridge, two closes called Coldharbours, four closes called Sawdernparks, thirteen closes and small pieves of land called Stolliver's alias Stolliford ground, the premises containing in all about eighty two acres of land, meadow and pasture. To hold from Michaelmas last for twenty one years, for a yearly rent of fifteen pounds for the mills, and 26s : 8d for Prior's Park, Lower Prior's Park, and Wester Prior's Park, and 14s for Willislake, and five shillings for Wakeham's Park, and eight shillings for Fary's Park, and eight shillings for Wester Willislake, and twenty eight shillings for the three Wester Oldhayes, and twenty eight shillings for the three Easter Oldhayes and the Little Meadow an Corner's Meade, and twelve shillings for Cockery Coll, Woodhills, Cockery Coll Meadow and Barley Park, amd thirteen shillings and four pence for Scoldons, and 11s : 4d for Bridgepark, and fourteen shillings or the two Coldharbours, and six shillings and eight pence for the Sawdernpark, and sixteen shillings for for Stollivers; the lessee pays a fine of four hundred pounds.
