Admission, at a court, upon the surrender , by John Hanson, gentleman, lord and farmer of the manor (by grant of the Provost of Eton), of Robert Dowbeny, gentleman, and Katherine, his wife and Samuel Dawbeny, his brother, to the tenement called Notters and eighteen closes (formerly only five), parcels of the manor, in the parish of St. Stephens by Saltash, Co. Cornwall, for their lives in suvivorship, for a yearly rent of 12s : 8d They pay a fine of five shillings.
