Copies on one roll of 5 charters relating to land in Hullavington.
1) Grant to Roger Wynsum and Roger son of William de Cimiterio of Sutton Bengar by William de Clatford for their service and 100s all the messuages with curtillages between his house and that of Robert Juvenis, with 2.5 acres of land [full description of land given]. Annual rent of 1d. Warranty clause.
2) Grant by Roger Wynsum to Alfred his son and Alice, Alfred's sister, one house in Hullavington, one curtilage and 2.5 acres of land and one fardel. [Property fully described]. Rent of one rose, and 2lb of wax for the altar of St Peter. Warranty clause.
3) Grant by Roger Wynsum to Arthur Wynsum and his sister Alice one house in Hullavington, one curtillage in the same, and 1.5 acres of arable land [property fully described]. Rent of one rose and half a pound of wax to the church. Warranty clause.
4) Quitclaim by Roger de Cimiterio, nephew of Roger Wynsum, of his right to a house in Hullavington recently gifted by Roger Wynsum to Alfred and Alice. 2lbs of wax to be gifted to the church.
5) Acknowledgement by William de Clatford that Roger Wynsum and Roger de Sutton, his nephew, are seized of all the messuages and 2.5 acres of land in Hullavington which were described in his charter. Should his wife seek her third after his death, his executors will pay them 20s. 11 March 1272.
